Do you remember Betsy McCall? Did you spend hours on Saturday afternoons
cutting out paper dolls then dressing them in their fabulous outfits?
Well, paper dolls are making a comeback, and now is your chance to
relive this pastime, by making contemporary paper dolls of your own!
In this fun and easy paper doll workshop, using simple patterns as
guides, you will be able to create beautiful paper dolls that are fast,
creative, and one-of-a-kind! We will be making a serene folded doll
which your imagination can quickly transform into a unique creation of
your own. We will also make an articulated (movable) “classic” style
paper doll. This doll may be completed with collage, by adding wings
(angel doll), or dressing “as is” to create a traditional paper doll.
Instructions for variations for all these dolls will be covered in this
workshop. All materials, including beautiful papers, stamps, yarn,
ribbon, beads, etc. are included.
Bring a friend – or make some new ones –
to this unique paper doll
workshop.
Please register early as class sized is limited. All fees are payable in
